2026 Calendar of Events

From flagship fundraising nights to community challenges, our events play a vital role in supporting children and young people across socially disadvantaged areas of Aberdeen. They generate a significant proportion of the funding that allows us to deliver our sustainable, impactful programmes across the city, helping us improve health, confidence and life opportunities for the children and communities we support.

Annual Ball Friday 8th May The Chester Hotel, Aberdeen One of the highlights of our year, this is an evening of celebration and shared purpose, bringing together supporters, partners and businesses.
Big Red 50, 5K Challenge 11th May to 29th June Anywhere We are taking part in this new, inaugural event. Participants can enter as individuals or teams and will aim for 5k of activity each day over 50 days, whether it be movement, walking, running, cycling or swimming to help raise funds for the Foundation.

Craig Brown Cup Friday 5th & Saturday 6th June Balmoral Stadium, Aberdeen This event brings together former players, supporters and families for a memorable day of football and entertainment. Alongside the match itself, the day includes family-friendly activities, live entertainment, a raffle and opportunities to support our work.

The Kiltwalk Aberdeen Sunday 7th June Banchory to Aberdeen The Kiltwalk is one of Scotland's largest and most inclusive fundraising events. Each year, supporters, corporate teams and partners choose to walk in aid of the Foundation.

The Brunch Club Friday 26th June 2026 Skylark at The Marcliffe, Aberdeen The Brunch Club is a relaxed yet elegant fundraising event, an afternoon of great food, conversation and entertainment in beautiful surroundings. Guests will enjoy a drinks reception followed by brunch, alongside auctions and raffles.

Annual Golf Day Friday 28th August Mackenzie Course, Hazlehead This established event brings together businesses, partners and supporters for a day of friendly competition, networking and fundraising. It is a popular fixture for our supporters, offering teams the opportunity to enjoy an organised day on the course, complete with on course competitions, refreshments and activities.

Long Lunch with My Name's Doddie 2nd October 2026 The Marcliffe, Aberdeen This is a special, joint event featuring guest speakers, celebrating sport, storytelling and shared community values. The lunch brings people together for an engaging and uplifting afternoon, while supporting our work.
